LS engined coupe - who what where > ?
I was talking to Dennis Peck from dynamic the other day and the subject of Daytona Coupes came up and fitting them with LS series engines. LS3,LS7,Erod, LSA, LS9 - LS10 !
I would love to see a LSA engine in one as I think it would be the 6.2L lightly huffed version that would be super nice. Thoughts , Photos , Discussion welcome ! Steve |
Steve, you may want to ask the same question over in the Aussie forum as we have many LSX powered cobras.
Our rego emission requirements are way more strict than yours so we adopted the LS X chev engines some time back starting with the LS1. I know one of our members "Stiffy" has a Daytona with a 6Ltr so you may well get a response from him. |

Peter Brock is running one in his Coupe, or so rumor has it. Here's my primary gripe with the LS series, they are fugly to the max.

You just have to drive one. Then you will understand why they put it in there.

I just loved the way the back end broke loose with a blip on the throttle. It's the first car I drove that was easy to make the rear come around in a controlled manner. It did take a little time to get used to the shifter being on the left though. Hersh:) |
