Datsun based Coupe kits
Hello all,
I have a Puckett Daytona Coupe kit manufactured about ten years ago. The company is out of business. I am trying to find any other owners of Datsun based Coupe kits. Specifically the Puckett kit. I am missing a few small parts and am looking to replicate them. Thanks, Reed Herman |
Do you have any pics? Only car I ever saw was the one in primer in the Kit Car mag.The early Z-cars are a natural for this type of rebody, the basic shape of the cars is real close.Have you thought about bringing the conversion back to market? I may do the A98 from AC one of these days.

I am going to try to take some pics later today. The kit looks worse than it is. It was the last kit Puckett ever produced. They didn't trim any flash from the parts. And a bunch of the smaller parts never came with it. (door latches, headlight covers, small scoops, and no side pipes)
The kit is reasonably accurate looking. I was actually thinking of pulling new molds from my car once I have completed the install. I would also make a bunch of inprovements. I have to wonder how much interest there would be if I offered this kit for sale again. |
Howdy,
Hey Speedmade, I would be interested. I want a Mr. Bruce body, but I broke the motor in my truck and I have to fix it first. I stabbed the trans today, so I'm getting closer. ;) Watching the Nascar race slowed everything down alittle. Plus cookin on the grill, and getting up late because we went out last night.:3DSMILE: Paul |
pics in my personal gallery.
I was able to take some pics today of the nose section, the rear tub, and the front cowl section. I have uploaded them in my personal gallery.
Hopefully in a few days I will upload pics of the door skins and all the little parts. Reed H |
