Congratulation for your web site: pictures and sound are super. Bernard |
C4 Cross Fire,
I noticed you snagged the pictures off my personal web page(I have a copyright notice posted on my home page). While I do not mind you using them(just the daytona coupe pics), some people might be offended if you do not ask their permission first. Don't want to see you get in to any legal trouble. Yours In Fords, Bill S. |
Thanks!
*By the way, I WANT to attribute all of the photos to their proper owners AND link them to the site/page they came from...only I don't know who owns them! Which ones are yours--and what is your web site URL? |

..looking at the pictures, it seems he might have "leeched" them off of your eBay listing of Jesper's coupe...not your website. ...I didn't see any copyright disclaimer in your eBay ad. Why don't you cut the kid some slack... he's a budding enthusiast, not an intellectual property thief! |
reviewed your site and.....
|
C4,
Your snagged them from www.bills2.us. Ron, If you look at the linked pictures on Ebay, they all pointed to bills2.us, which if you notice in the bottom left hand corner does indeed have a site copyright for any and all content. Since he had to snag them off my server, you would think he would have checked the sight for copyright notices beforehand so as not to get himself in any trouble down the road. Oh, and the "kid" was born in 1965, you do the math............ Bill S. PS: If I don't protect my copyrighted material, it goes to public domain after a certain time. Why would I want that to happen. |
...yeah, you don't want to lose the rights to those snapshots of Jesper's kit.
|
As my original post stated, I had no problem with them being used. It's the concept and the thought behind having items and a site copyrighted that is at stake. You snooze, you lose.......I don't want to end up with people using my artwork without my written permission (as I had happen with a certain group of Cobra owners this past year)...My livelihood
is now at stake by people like this, as this is close to my sole source of income at this time. Bill S. Quote:
