Front turn signal lamps?
 

I have been trying to figure out which lamp assembly has been used for the coupe. Some of the photos show a small light inside of the plexiglass cover but in most photos they are very hard to see.

Any ideas?

I saw some SPF Datona Coupes with the turn lites in side the head lites on the side and some F5 Datona Coupes with the lites inside on the bottom.

I have find these front turn light in an English shop. However, the lamp bulbe is too small (only 5W) and there is no space to instal a new one of 20W. It is initialy designed as a side lamp position but it looks nice as turn light for the Coupe ;)

Do you have any good photos of how the plexiglass covers for the headlights are attached?

Its a detail but its important for the look. I have tryed 2 ways to fix the plexi-glass covers. The first was for the bottom high beam (see picture). I have used 3 pieces of aluminum sheet bended with a small insert to receive a 4mm screw. There are fixed inside with a "pop" rivet. The second way was for the top light. I have threaded 4 pieces of aluminum and fix them inside the case with some drop of "araldite" glue (not sur about the translation). But as you can see, the result is not very nice and I have to find a third way :)

I'm sorry I don't have full contact info from the guy I got them from. His name is Shawn and the company name is Pro-Team, Inc. He was selling a coupe on here 6 months ago. Hopefully he will see this thread and chime in. I had to cut off a half reflector, I suspect they are license plate illumination lights.

Here's a look at a turn signal I saw on a Brammo car at Knott's a year ago and am using on my Upstate Coupe. It's actually a motocycle turn signal finished in a carbon fiber look carrier. I was down at Superformance about 2 months ago and see they are now using them but they paint them to match the body. Ebay for about $15...Attachment 11865

I recommend, Shawn as a source for these lamps as originals are very difficult to find. As Chuck has done, the chrome covering half of the lamp has to be removed, if originality is what you are looking for. Remember to paint where you have removed the chrome cover or it will rust.
Also, Shawn's lamps come complete, rubber lamp holder, lense and chrome cover. I trash the lamp assembly and replace it with a new one from like Auto Zone, that takes one of the new series of high intensity bulbs. This will lite up those directionals and you can get them in amber or clear.
I am out of town this week but when I return, I will see if I can get some part numbers. I got mine at Pep Boy's, they run about $10 per bulb. If you feel additional lighting is required you can add a second light to each side and still be considered original. CSX-2286 had two directionals on each side.
The best way of mounting the plexiglass light cover is the way it appears Chuck has done it. Make some right angle aluminum pieces long enough to take two 1/8 inch pop rivets to secure it to the body and then use a riv-nut or similiar fastener, I like 10/24 and use a small head phillips counter sunk screw to secure. The headlight covers use four screws and the driving light covers use three.
I suggest you mount the mounts before you final paint the car. Fit your plexiglass to the opening. Without the headlights installed come through the headlight and fit each aluminum piece. Some will have to be bent back on themselves. How far in they go will depend on the thickness of the plexiglass you are using, 3/16" will allow you to counter sink the screw heads. Your aluminum pieces should be pre-drilled with three holes, 2 1/8" for the pop-rivets and a hole about 3/16" for the riv-nut fastner or similiar brand product. The aluminum pieces are then fitted to the body without the riv-nut fastener installed. These are then installed after the aluminum pieces are on the body. The reason for this is that you can not get at the pop rivet holes to attach the piece to the body in some cases if the riv-nut is installed first.


The original lights are from a Sunbeam Tiger Series 1 and are rear license plate lights.

Turn signals
 

The pig tail I am using is a Standard Motor Products number S-100. It takes a standard 194 bulb. I just ran some illumination tests and the brightest bulb, I found was a Sylvania 194NA. This is an amber bulb but is also available in clear and actually thru more light than the high intensity bulbs at 1/3 rd the cost. The bulbs should be available anywhere in the country. The holder as stated is from Standard Motor Products-Long Island City-NY 11101.
