Daytona Coupe

It all depends on what you want. The Superformance has all the 'creature comforts' but, with it comes extra weight. Mine has no ac, heater, defroster, wipers, leather seats or spare tire. But it weights in at 2200 lbs. It has a 351ci engine with all the goodies that equals 500HP. I've dusted several SPC with more HP because with less weight, I get them with a better 'hole shot'! I do not drive it on real hot days because of no ac but I can do without.

Brent/Admin,

Is there an issue with this area?

The "FFR Coupe at Bonneville" thread seems to disappear unless found in awkward ways.

Maybe because that thread is in the Coupe Talk forum? Not sure why there are
2 Daytona Coupe forums?

Larry...before you order a Superformance Coupe spend some time chatting with owners. There are about 100 now in the US, so you can find enthusiastic owners just about anywhere. There are several details in ordering the chassis, engine and transmission that you need to consider before pulling the trigger. If you can post an email address i can hopefully put you in touch with some one in your area. I have over 22,000 miles on my car and love it! Badger

I am thinking of buying a used Coupe ($82,000) or ordering a new one. Who should I contact to get the information about what not to do?

Hi Badger,

I have been talking with a lot of folks about the Coupes and have some real good information so far. Seems like a lot of folks there in the Northwest like these cars ---rain? I understand that Peter Brock lives up there along with Brad Berger SPC #49 from Coupe Connection.

I am not sure how to post a PM to give you my email, but if you can share any information, I sure would appreciate it. We are real close to ordering one.
