15" Tire Option

We are building a FFR Coupe and I have been looking at available options for a streetable tire and the Firestone Firehawk model stands out at least on its performance statistics. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge about this tire? Here is the link to Tire Rack:

If you compare the tires listed (all 5 of them in the 295-50 X 15) plus the Cooper Cobra tire this tire is almost perfect in dry handling and performance even though it's tread rating is 500.

Do you see any Parelli Tires under the 295-50X 15?

Clois I know it's a different application than what I had, but after about 35K they developed the magical bubble in the sidewalls. When I tried to get another set of them I wasn't able to. So I wound up going with a different set of radials on the front. I did like the tires as far as their ride and driveability. Hope this helps you out some.

I have never got over 4000 miles on a set of tires yet and on my track tires sometimes they only last a weekend. What to do what to do? Sure didn't want to spend the money on the Billboards.

MT ET drag radials are my next tires. All I hear are positive remarks.
