Xlr8or,

It was nice chatting with you on the phone. I hope I was able to answer all your questions earlier, but I will go ahead and post the answers here as well for anyone else interested....

The kit price given on our site is for a Body/Frame Package only, with Windshield, Rear Plexi, and some minor incidentals, but no additional options and accessories.

Any and all options and accessories can be purchased through us, or your own source, with the exception of Engine and Transmission. This includes all interior and exterior items, including the Plexi headlight covers.

Please feel free to contact me if you come up with any other questions regarding our Coupes.

Ryan

Thanks for the call.
As I said earlier, it's nice to see another option for the Daytona Coupe.

Thanks for the direct, honest answers it is appreciated.

Ryan,

I think the question that's been rattling around in my noggin, and probably should be asked for everyone here...is what would be the projected date when either your website is completed with parts, options, and prices, or at least some sort of mail-out brochure, catalog, handout, pamphlet, heiroglyphics, cave drawings, sand painting, etc?

I don't want to seem antsy, but knowing this information would help me start to plan things out in my noggin (and my noggin needs as much lead time as possible).

As always, whatever info you can provide is appreciated.

Tim, I apologize for not responding on the forum sooner, although I know we have discussed this on the phone previously.

We do have a brochure which details the Base package components and pricing. I mailed one to you a couple of weeks ago. Please let me know if you have not received it and I will make sure to get another one out to you.

As for the options and related pricing on our website, we are diligently working on compiling an online catalog/quote system. We do have several items updated, and the catalog can be accessed via:
www.leshermotorsports.com/Catalog/products.htm

Please keep in mind, this is a work in progress, so we do offer more than what you see there, and there is still some information missing for some of the items that are there.

That being said, if anyone is looking for pricing/availability information on a particular item that has not been updated yet, please feel free to contact me and we will give you the information you are looking for.

Of course we will keep the community updated as we make progress.

As always, thank you for your interest, and I do look forward to speaking with you again soon.

Ryan

Ryan,

Yes, I received the pamphlet about a week ago. Sorry for the delay in acknowledgement. I also received your email the other day with the partial price list. Thanks again for that, I appreciate it.

The question rattling around in my melon today is...If I remember correctly, you mentioned previously that your coupe kit would have the potential of side windows that were capable of roll down, similar to the Superformance vehicle. I realize that the original windows weren't capable of such, but if someone were interested in an option other than the sliding plexiglass, would that be a possibility?

Yup, today's question was pretty simple...I haven't woke up yet. Must have more caffeine. 'later!

Tim,

Yes, the original style sliding plexi is available, as well as Power windows, in your choice of Plexi or standard glass.

Hi Ryan,

Nice talking with you yesterday. :-)

I was looking at the Upstates demo car and saw a pic that shows an on/off switch on the passenger side cowl of the car.

Is that an emergency kill switch like they use on drag racers? If not, what is it?

Thanks,
Mike

Lesher 07-18-2007 05:33 PM

Mike,

It was great talking to you, too. :)

Yes that is a kill-switch/battery cutt-off.

Feel free to contact me with any other questions you come up with!

Take Care,
Ryan

Ryan, what seats you offer?

Finding a set for my Shell Valley is driving me crazy.

Seats

Scott,

I am running Kirkey drag seats (with custom covers) in my demo car. I wanted the most room that I could get. I also offer a tube frame suspension seat (like ERA).

What are you needing? Comfortable, roomy, or are you needing a seat that just fits in the car.

Scott S 07-21-2007 07:49 AM

I ordered a drag seat from Summit and will try it to see if I can get it to fit.

Thanks,

Scott S

Lesher 07-23-2007 09:03 AM

If it does not fit I can build you a coupe to go around it.

Let me know how it works out.

bkozlow 07-23-2007 09:22 AM

Coupe seats

Original coupes had a fiberglass driver seat and an aluminum passenger seat.
The passanger seat was attached to the car with Zeus fasteners.

I have tooling to make fiberglass seats. We can make our car just about anyway someone wants.

We can also make an aluminum body.

Lesher 07-24-2007 03:06 PM

Yes, on both counts.

We can Make aluminum Bodies and aluminum seats (all hand made in the US).
