exaust fan problem
I changed out the carb on SPO 55 today and noticed two wires, one with a male spade end and the other a female spade both running in the same conduit from the front of the motor parrallel to the shrouded AC line that runs by the valve cover and manifold. Neither end was connected to anything and I did not see where it might connect to. After running the motor I noticed the engine bay exaust fans kept running(never done it before, normal temps today and I did not turn them on), I touched the two wire ends together but it did nothing. Any thoughts ?

You slammed the garage door closed on the guy just down the street from you when the 2 wires touched!!!! Don't tell him you did it or he will be mad.
Guessing they are for some option and it's possible shorting them or connectiong them took out a fuse if this was a + and - hot wire set up. I am sure somebody will know and let ya know instead of the smart a$$ remarks like mine. Sorry just had to jump in LOL
