Daytona Coupe question
What windshield did Peter Brock use on the first Coupe? Did he have it made or was it a windshield from another car? In the movie "The Cobra Ferrari Wars" it stated that Peter build the Coupe around the windshield. OK experts, what is the answer?

Pages 60 thru 62 of Cobra Daytona Coupes by Brock/ Stauffer/Freidman.
Looks like it was a 'Special' Build & they had to have it prior to starting the assembly of the body panels.

A mid 60s Falcon is pretty close. That's what I use in my cars, I trim about 4'' off the top, fits rite in.

Hmmm, given that Mr Brocks 'toy' at the time was that Falcon panel van you might not be far from the truth Mr Bruce. Did'nt the 'Falcon' coupe versions already have a 'shorter' windscreen?

The original coupes used a custom windshield. It was made to the smallest dimensions they could use and still pass tech inspection. Then they built the body around it. We have windshields in stock.
