Coupe rear view mirror
Gentlemen:
I am about 80% complete with my coupe and need some advise on my inside rear view mirror. I plan to mount it on the inside of the winshield toward the top with the best view. Is there a particular type of mirror (brand and part number) that works the best and what type of adhesive is used to glue it to the surface of the windshield? Any help on this will be much appreciated. Thanks. Mike |
They sell a adhesive at the auto parts store just for mirrors I had an extra out of a 80s dodge, just pick a production cars mirror that you like and use it.Ther are some after market race mirrors that mount differently called a (wink) with 4 or 5 different pannles .Good hunting...WB3

Hello Mike
2 years ago I had installed a cheap MG mirror that was used on the original Cobra http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chrom...=p4506.c0.m245 It was fixed by 2 screws on the front roll bar at the top of the windscreen (I don't like the glue). Unfortunately, due to the small size of this mirror if was difficult (and dangerous) to observe something. So, I have adapt on the original bracket a panoramic mirror (Razor brand) that is more safe and easy to install ;) |
