Toploader gasket

Hello everyone, I need some advice again !! :) I have a small leak coming from the gasket btween the two halfs of a toploader.
I tought it was the lower bolt, but looking closer proved to be the gasket. Can I just diconnect the shifting linkage and unbolt the tail shaft end to replace the gasket ? or is there more involved inside ? Any help would be great Scott

To replace it without cutting it you will have to take the tailhousing all the way off. Could it be coming from one of the other bolts?

Thanks David, I am sure its from the gasket. I will just replace it this winter. Thank you for the reply. I will call you for sure if I ever need parts or another transmission. You have been great in helping people out on this site and we should always try to do business with people who take the time to help and enjoy this great hobby. I will call ya when I need to buy the gaskets.
Scott
