Membership info to DSCC

I'm in Ocala, FL and wanting to know how to be a part of the DSCC. Don't have a cobra yet but will sooner or later and hopefully sooner. I''m wanting to know when there are any event dates as well to help me along in my research. Thanks. Steve

Steve,

You're in the right place. Just keep reading the DSCC pages. There are events all the time in your area. The VP is Dan Wulf who lives in south Florida and he usually sets something up every month down there.

You don't need a Cobra to join the DSCC. Contact our Secretary Ruble Moore (aumoore) and he will get you set up.

Our next track race is in Gainesville 13 Oct. Go shake some hands and maybe get a ride around the track. Jerry Rowley is the DSCC President. Hit him up for a ride so he can show you what his new engine can do.

Steve,

Hunter Manufacturing is in Ocala. Randy makes a nice kit. If you can't get with cobra owners you might stop by his shop.

2931 NW 8th Place
Ocala, FL 34475
Cell Phone 352-895-7563

I checked out the Hunter Cobra in July. Randy went out of his way and I mean out of his way! He was in the middle of moving to another house and dropped everything he was doing. He showed me his shop and got me a ride in a local owners cobra.

Randy is a small shop but i know you will enjoy checking out his product. The Corvette suspension had an excellent ride. Smoother than the Corvettes I've been in.

Having his shop in your town will let you see first hand the many ways you can build a kit and make your first kit that much better since you can avoid mistakes. Go and get hooked.

Thanks guys

I have also met Randy and liked his product and him as a person. Man is he working hard. He took my son and I for a spin in a customers car with a 502 chevy crate motor. So cool. I'm definetly scheduling to be up in Gainsville on Oct 13 for track day. I'm only 30 - 40 minutes away. Will need a bit of direction to the location though. I'm only familiar with the wherabouts of the NHRA dragstrip. I'm also glad I finally found my password after my international move 3 months ago. Thanks Steve

Steve and TheShadow,

http://www.teamfour.com/dscc/Join_Us/join_us.html
Please use the url I have provided and it will get you both to our web site and a form to join the DSCC. Welcome aboard. Randy is a member of our club and so is the fellow with the 502 Chevy crate motor. The guys will be getting back together at Old Town this coming month since the summers are a bit to warm. They try and meet the last Staurday of each month.

Re: Thanks guys / reply

Steve, the Gainesville Raceway test track is located right behind the NHRA dragstrip. Enter
through the main entrance then follow the staging
lanes to the back of the facility.
Dan is correct, Orlando Old Town will be back
in full force once the weather gets back below the "dog days" temp. levels. We hope to see you
there, or at our track event in Oct.

Drive Safe, Joe Smith
