The first day we gathered at the Comfort Inn in Canton Georgia and then Ed invited us to his home for pizza and drinks. The following morning we drove all over the back roads until we landed for lunch at the Wolf Winery but when we departed unwanted heavy rains came. After the rain stopped we could continue our drive to our night stay at http://www.glenella.com/
|
On our second day we had a lot more stops, our first was at the Mark of the Potter, then Anna Ruby Falls, and then into Helen Georgia for lunch. Next was a stop at Brasstown Bald and a trip to the top of the mountains, next into Dahlonega Georgia for ice cream and the fudge shop. We finally landed in Amicalola Falls state park for lodgeing.

Robert,
After walking all over Hiawassee and taking all those pictures at the car show I thought I had Polio, driving is much better. I guess I have been in Florida to long where every thing is flat. |

Dan,
I met Ed on Thursday and Friday at Virginia International Raceway for the Track Daze HPDE. Very nice guy and he has a very nice looking car as well. Hope the rest of his trip goes well. Mac |
John Tongish is the man you might meet at one of the tracks as he is taking his FFR roadster to all the major tracks so he can put his Cobra on the different tracks and do what Cobras where built to do.
