jason--
That car of yours is wild! Not only did it look great, but from where I was standing on the end of the straight at turn 1, it looked like you should have a drag chute in addition to brakes--what acceleration! Lool forward to seeing you at the next event. Rick |
Small Blocks Rule
I just figured out where I did better than the big HP motors.....I got better gas milage. :3DSMILE:
Serioulsy I was a little timid as this was the first time I actually drove the car outside of my own neighborhood. Next time I should run a little harder but I still will not be able to catch Jason, The Z06 and...Uh....well most of the other cars too but I will have fun trying to stay out of the way. |
Ruble, we were both tied for last place, but who cares!
Ruble, between my Detroit Locker rear end, street tires, and the fact that I
drove like a "school-bus" driver, I figure we were both tied for last place! But who cares! We both had fun, and that's what it's all about anyway. Vroom! putt....putt....putt...... |

Rubel--
Thanks for the post. Very interresting info and probably a lot of work. In the excitement of the day I didn't have a chance to get a good look at the numbers. These figures will no doubt be the source of some friendly debate over the winter months--Right Jerry???:3DSMILE: :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE: Rick |
Back in Gainesville Feb 2! crap.... DOUBLE CRAP! Now I HAVE to have my car finished so I don't have to mooch more seat time with people.
Seriously, I appreciate Ruble, Steve and Jerry for letting me counter balance their cars around the track. I'm just glad that I wasn't giving directions to the local hospitals! Aside from the directions to the local tire place, eh Steve? I guess in Feb, the big block cars will have an advantage. They will keep their owners warmer than the small block people. :3DSMILE: If anyone needs some assistance with places to stay drop me a note. Sorry I missed the dinner on Saturday, can't wait to see everyone again in Feb! This time I'm bringing a better camera. |
David
Glad I could give you a ride. You must have shifted on the last ride because my battery shifted and pulled the hot lead to the Fuel Pump relay loose. Maybe we can get there a few days early and have a "Two day build before we thrash it party" Ruble P.S. The times above are unofficial and probably not that accurate. Some of the under 50 sec times have to be wrong |
