London Cobra Show Pictures

I attended the first Double Venom Spring Fling in 2001 in London Ohio to the last held in 2005 in Elyria Ohio. After 8 years I decided to come back with my Solbra to London, for the London Cobra Show held by the Ohio Cobra Club. I have posted a link to some of the pictures with more to follow later, enjoy.

Dan,

I would like to know if you know anything about this car, and how the trailer hitch receiver was attached to the car, if you have any more detailed pictures of the receiver hitch.

That Cobra & trailer were from Canada & I took a lot of pictures but other than the pictures I have no idea, but have seen other cobras with trailers.

Why do you ask? Is there something inquiring minds need to know?

PS I built a cobra with a trailer hitch. If you want to know the easy way contact me.;)

Jay

Jay, you know I do. They only way Anneliese would agree to the roadster purchase was if she had enough room for all her luggage and shopping loot. I told her we would need a trailer and she said 'make it so'.

Jay it would have been nice to see you again in person, as the main reason I went this year was to see many friends that stay in touch via emails. I even brought up the Boys from Backdraft all the way from Florida, not Reg or Frank Dodd but his two top boys they will be in pictures still coming.

Yeah Dan, I miss going and seeing all the crew. Your pics tell me Dwight and Jack are not as young as I remember:LOL: I have been talking to Bill Dyer about next year. They are getting close to the $1,000,000 level for donations. I really would like to be there for that. If not next year the year after. It all depends on my family issues. I really loved the event and the people.

Bobby, I can relate,,,, Dee's Bondo doesn't set up till about eleven and everything has to be just so or she won't leave the room. She does not travel well. I am truly blessed.

Jay,
You are right if it wasn’t for the name tags I would not have recognized anyone, I had them all send me recent pictures of themselves. The old hotels we stayed in have all changed their names and they have about 8 new locations as I & the wife stayed at the Hampton Inn. Downtown London looks the same as the wife & I had lunch in the church on the square in their basement mainly because of the air-conditioning as it was near 90 degrees on Saturday. The weekend before the temps was in the 70’s. I have more pictures to follow.
