upcoming track opportunities
Hi,
There are several upcoming track time opportunities that would accept you fellows if you are interested, put on by the World Championship Auto Racing Series (www.Worldcarz.com). The Dec. 1 & 2 event at CMP in Kershaw, SC. would be a perfect chance to drive a good track at your own speed. Next is Road Atlanta in Early Jan. 02, cold but what the heck. Check out the website and let me know if there is any interest, so I can help them organize the schedule...There will be quite a range of cars at the event, all classed according to car and driver capabilities, with a restricted passing track time group that I think would be perfect for those just wanting to get the old feet wet. The idea is to learn how to drive in a safe , fast, consistant manner, and I personally can use all of the track time I can get, so come on fellows, lets go.... regards, John |
I forgot to say that if you guys want to argue back and forth about this and that, SAI, raffles etc. , that is also allowed at the track...

I'll try to attend the Dec 1-2 event (as a spectator of course) at CMP since it's just down the road from home. I look forward to seeing you again. Are your buddies planning to attend this time as well? Did what's-his-name get his damaged Pantera fixed? I'm really terrible with names. Keith |
Buddies are coming and Pantera had a mishap. A shelving system fell on it while it was in the garage. You should have seen him cry, but we are working on it....I think he can go a little faster without worrying about his paint so much...

Don't forget the VIR Speed Trial USA event on Dec-8 & Dec-9 .
It will be on the FULL 3.xx mile course!! |

I'm booked for at least Saturday Dec. 1st at Carolina. I spoke with Worldcarz and a three-point rollbar will be acceptable for track time though actual race participation may not be allowed. No problem, I just need the track time. Will you be running saturday?? Rick |

Sorry Dan, I will stop putting pictures of non-Cobra stuff up, but I just figured out how to scan stuff with my printer and I was all excited and got carried away. I will do a better job of exercising self control. If you think the ast is funny, you should see the front......

John, thats ok I know how it is when one gets a new toy. I hope you make it to our April outing so I can take pictures of your listed Cobra 427 MK IV and GT 40 Spyder, with my digital camera toy. See everone come April when I hope it is safe to come farther North.
