Are there going to be a lot of you guys there? We have
had a swap spot at the turkey run for about 10 years,
been several since we went to the spring show. We
are building an FFR, and would like to see complete
cars of all makes for ideas. Do you bring your cars
down by the shopping center at night? See you there...

Mike I 01-22-2002 09:00 AM

Hi John, welcome aboard.

I don't expect a large number of Club Cobra or DSCC members to attend the spring show. Heck, there weren't that many at the Turkey Run in November.:(

DSCC Pres. Jerry Rowley and VP Dan Wolff (CobraDan) along with his sweet wife Jean attended the Turkey Run and I had a great time hanging out with all of them. Hope they'll return for the Spring show....;)

If there were enough members interested, we could get a club area sectioned off for us, but I doubt enough members would commit to show up.

I'll be there with a local club I'm a member of, the "St. Augustine Cruisers", and we have several other Cobra owners in the club who'll probably attend as well. I can at least predict an ERA, a Shell Valley and a home built Cobra will be there for you to check out in addition to my E-M. You're more than welcome to come park and party with us (as are any other members) at the show if you'd like.

Hope to see you there.:3DSMILE:

Mike :MECOOL:

BTW, what shopping center are you referring to? The one on A1A that's like a car show of it's own?

John Byers 01-22-2002 07:22 PM

The Bel Aire shopping center on A1A right down
by the beach. There is too much traffic for cruising,
but if you get there early enough to get a decent
parking spot, it's fun to just hang out and check out
the cars. And there are a bunch- like you said, it's
like it's own car show. Hope to see you there...

The Lakes Park Show

7330 Gladiolus Drive, (941)-772-8273. May 11,2002 brought to you by the Timeless Traveling Treasures car club. All proceeds go to the Araba Shrine Transportation Fund. This is a show with about 500 or more cars showing up in the past. I won't be able to make this one because I have a wedding to attend.

I'm afriad I won't be making the Spring Show at Daytona Mike. We have reservations at the motel for the Turkey Run, however, and we will see you there! We will go with the Unique Motorcars folks again. They have three rooms reserved for many years now.
This year I hope to bring some kind of local transportation to get around that hugh place. Last year I bought a scooter but the damn charger didn't work.

Y'al have fun now, ya'hear!
