2002 DSCC Weekend Agenda:

Registration Fee
Please bring a check for $20 per party (payable to Deep South Cobra Club) to the event.

Your registration fee includes the following:
- One dash plaque
- One information package including maps, agenda, etc.
- One name tag for each DSCC member in your party
- Entry fee for the car show
- It also covers the costs of car-show trophies

If you don't receive an information pack in the mail, you can pick one up at the Holiday Inn front desk upon check-in or at Southern Automotive.

Saturday-Night Dinner
7:30PM till 9:30PM at Holiday Inn Banquet Hall

$24 per person
If possible, please pre-pay this with your registration fee.

If you wish to attend the DSCC meeting, but do not wish to eat dinner, all you have to do is show up and have coffee/tea.
A cash bar will be available, regardless of whether you're having dinner.

Check-in at the hotel.
Information packets will be available at the desk.
Pre-register at Southern Automotive (name tags, etc.)
Snacks will be served at Southern Automotive (BYOB)
(Snacks are courtesy of Atlanta-area DSCC members.)
Dinner arrangements are on-your-own later in the evening.

Saturday
8:30 AM - 9:00 AM
Register at Southern Automotive for DSCC name tags and car show entries
All DSCC members need to register, car or not.

9:00 AM
Car show starts.
T-shirts with the dash plaque logo are available for purchase while supplies last.
DSCC shirts, hats, etc. will be available for purchase while supplies last.
Other car "toys" will also be available for purchase while supplies last.

10:00 AM
Open house at Southern Automotive for DSCC members (name tag required).

12:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Barbecue lunch at Southern Automotive for DSCC members (name tag required).
(Lunch is courtesy of Southern Automotive.)

1:00 PM
Car judging starts.

2:30 PM
Car show trophies are awarded.
(It's time to get gas if you need it for the Poker Run.)

3:00 PM
Poker Run starts.
Open to all DSCC members, regardless of vehicle.
$2 ante to enter Poker Run

5:30 PM - 6:00 PM
End of Poker Run at Southern Automotive
The winner will be announced after dinner.

7:30 PM
Cocktails at cash bar at the Holiday Inn banquet room.

8:30 PM
Dinner starts.

9:30 PM
2002 DSCC Meeting starts.
Winner of Poker run is announced.
Poker Run prize is awarded. (Ties split the prize.)
Club business, election of officers, etc.

Sunday
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Breakfast at Holiday Inn

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Seminar at Southern Automotive by Dennis Olthoff (Road Racing - techniques, suspension, etc.)

With all the Cobra celebrities, Alan Weaver owner of Unique Cobras, Dennis Olthoff tied in with his son's Superformance Dealership, and Bill Parham who put's together Ford engines from Southern Automotive and this years sponsor. I can't wait to attend, and anyone at this point who is only an enthusiast and has not yet made a commiment on which Cobra, should not miss this event.

Sale items at the Annual Meeting
 

There will be tee-shirts for sale at $15 each. These are all cotton shirts w/pockets. The dash plaque art is silk screened on the back with Deep South Cobra Club screened on the pocket in front.

DSCC car window stickers will be on sale for $3.00

The dash plaques are included ($5.00 each) with your registration fee. (extras may be purchased as long as they last)

Profits from all items go to the club treasurery.

There are a few cobra cars that will be for sale during the weekend for any enthusiast that hasn't ordered one yet!

Door prizes, which are free to all registered entries, will be plentiful

2002 Meeting
 

Just wanted to thank you for calling me tonight and reminding me of the event. I have the check in the envelop ready to go out in tomorrows mail. I will probably just drive down Saturday morning for the days events and stay in the hotel Saturday night. I will be bringing a guest with me. Looking forward to seeing you in Jasper also.
