I need some SERIOUS help: DSCC Gainesville Track Event, Jan 18, 2003

I have just found out that my wife's (master's) graduation ceremony will
be on, you guessed it, Jan. 18th 2003. Jean has been slugging away at this thing for over a year on the week-ends, I'd really like to show her how
proud I am by attending.

Is there anyone who would be willing to "take the football" and run the
Gainesville Track Event? It's not difficult, and I could tell you what to do in
about 10 minutes. The regular crowd will assist with flagging and waivers...
the thing actually kind of runs itself.

This person would have to:

Sign and return the contract, set up the track cones on Friday afternoon,
Arrange Fri. and Sat. supper by RSVP at local Gainesville places to eat,
help tech the cars, give a short track brief, and collect the money (Ruble
Moore will assist on the money stuff) Run the event at the track, make
sure the raceway gets their cash / checks, then put the cones away after
the event. See.....I told you it was easy!

I WILL NOT cancel this event, and if nobody steps forward, I'll do it, but
if anyone could help me out here.....I'd really appreciate it.

Does this mean you will not be able to attend at all? What Time is her Graduation and where is it at? I know several crazy people with very fast cars who can transport you almost anywhere you want to go really really fast. Oh wait you have one of those really fast cars yourself. I will just loan you my radar detector.

I'm sorry, perhaps I wasn't clear. I'd like to have someone in the DSCC
assume ALL my track related duties for this event. Jean's graduation is
3 hours away from Gainesville. If I attend her gig, I wouldn't get back to
Gainesville in time.

I am a man of my word, and if no one steps forward to help, you can COUNT
on me to do my duties at Gainesville. I won't leave the DSCC hanging.
