Where the heck has Joe Smith been?
I've received several emails and phone
calls as to why I've dropped out of sight of late. After a series of tests and surgery, my 34 year old wife Jean, has been found to have cancer of the liver, colon,and aorta. Jean's a fighter, and plans to meet the monster head on, but I sure could use your prayers. Obviously I won't be attending and DSCC functions for a while, but please remember Jean while you do attend. I've only met you once in my life (at Cobra Dan's Bash) but please know that I came away from that meeting with a greater sense of family and friends that overpowered our love of the Cobra. I learned that many of the members traveled (some at great distance) to help another member build his car. That alone said alot to me of our members. Please know that we all share your's and Jean's pain in these trying times. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you thuout the coming days. May God bless you both. Terry and Carol Lee |

I don't think we have met, but God Bless to you and Jean. Having gone thru this recently with a good friend, all I can say is keep a positive attitude and pray a lot. Get all the information you can to fight it and keep your friends close. You will be in our prayers. DC |
