Mike - Thanks for the reminder! I wanted to go last year but couldn't make it. Supposed to be a heck of a show! My in-laws have a place in Amelia Island.......great excuse for us to go (without the in-laws of course!). My brother-in-law got married down there at the "latee dah" Ritz (not cracker). If anyone sees this and goes down, remember to pack the golf clubs. Lots of great courses around there! Highly recommend Osprey Cove in GA also; its only about 1/2 - 45 min from Amelia.

Great, hope to see you guys there. I've taken the web site recommendation very seriously and I already purchased tickets.;)

Terry, you are absolutely right about Osprey Cove....I still have a rain check to use at that course too!! %/

Another one worth mentioning is Northhampton, which is even closer than Osprey Cove, just a few miles west of the bridge to Amelia Island. I also like Laurel Island Links in S. GA (not far from OC)! ;)

For those considering attending. Quotes from the press release:

* The five Grand Sport Corvettes will appear together for the first time in history.........

*The five Grand Sports, three coupes and two roadsters......

* The most successful race weekend for the Grand Sports was at the Nassau Trophy Races in 1963 when three coupes, entered by Houston oil man John Mecom and driven by Roger Penske, Augie Pabst, Dick Thompson, and 2003 Amelia Concurs Honorary Chairman Jim Hall..........

*Our plan is to have all five Grand Sports thunder onto the fairways of the Golf Club of Amelia Island at 9:30 Sunday morning, March 9th.........

All times are GMT -7. The time now is 11:30 PM.
