For Saturday dinner for the children an alternative other than the Banquet would be at Denny’s restaurant attached to the Holiday Inn. I’m looking for a chaperone age 18 or older to take the kids for dinner on Saturday evening. The parents can choose this as an alternative and eliminate the Banquet from their check to Ruble Moore.

Send your checks with a note included to break down the total so we know what you have chosen for your family, from the above pricing.

I now have Silver Springs Park tickets in my possession. I will be mailing out the tickets to those that have sent their moneys to Ruble Moore our treasurer. We have less than two months to purchase our tickets for the 3rd annual event. Anyone entering the park without a Cobra show car should enter through the Main Gate Entrance. Cobra show cars will enter through the North Gate and be escorted into the park from there. Each ticket is printed with the day that they are valid, and all attendees will have their tickets collected at the gate. The Mansion has been reserved for our group for both days. Our lunch meals will be set up in the west wing each day from 12:00-1:30pm. The green arm bands are for Saturday and the blue ones are for Sunday.
If you have family or friends that would like to see Silver Springs at these reduced rates just send in the additional moneys to Ruble with a note. We have tickets for individual days and both days, with or without lunch.
Thanks in advance Dan

Dan -

Thanks for the reminder. I finally have mailed off my check to Ruble. Here's hoping that my long-delayed Coupe finally gets here so I can bring it to the meeting.

As for volunteering, just let me know what help you need at the time.

Jim,
How would you like to be one of our photographers with that fancy camera of yours? You better have that coupe to show off!
Thanks Jim.

Dan -

I will bring the camera along, but it is far more capable than I am. Still, I'll make sure you get to see any photos I take (and will take photos for others if they wish - digital only).

I have had a few question if it is required to purchase admission to silversprings to attend the event? What if someone has no interest in the park but wants to attend the event and go to the dinner or lunches?

Could your clarify this please?

T he only way you can go to the lunches is purchase a park ticket, if you want to come to the banquet Saturday evening this is being held at the Holiday Inn across the street and for $22.50 per person you can purchase a ticket for this dinner. The reason in having our annual outting in a park setting was for many reasons. RAIN, which we had at our first and second event. Also we are trying to make this a family event, and give the wife something to do while us gear heads play and talk Cobras. I just signed up my brother and his friend and my sister, this is 6 people who would like to see Silver Springs park. They all purchased Saturdays park and lunch for $58.00 (Sunday $62.00 per couple) per couple, and are staying at the Holiday Inn for one night and going back home on Sunday morning.

So we will all be inside the park? I thought we would be in the parking lot?

CobraDan 03-04-2003 08:42 AM

Ruble

Our Cobras will be inside the park on the grass right in front of the Mansion for anyone to veiw. On saturday we are going to have a car show and I was thinking of having guests to the park(2,200 per day in May) pick peoples choice award for a plaque to be given out at the banquet dinner.

This really sounds like fun. Our first kid is due on April 4th, so with a newborn in the house (and a new mom in the house!) there's just no way I'll be able to make it. I hope some of you other Georgia and Carolina folks will make a strong showing in my absence. We can't let the Florida guys have all the fun!!!

Keith :)
