Who wants to race at Sebring, May 3-4th
Weve been invited to attend the Ford SVT outing at Sebring.
You can get more information from: https://www.svtoa.com/images/news/ar...er_website.pdf I just spoke to Gene (Tampa reginal director) and got some more info about the event. The "Standard" safety requirements hold true for this event. SAme as what we look for at Gainesville. There are no special requirements that he is aware of. Must have Snell 90 helmet or newer and roll bar for open cars. Passengers are not permitted... this does not make Renee happy! "Teams" can swap driving time for an additional $10.00. Trailers and RV's are permitted at the track and there will be a FORD dealer present with spare parts. There will be 3 groups running all day Sunday. Novice, intermediate and the pro's. Passing is allowed with the intermediate and pro groups only. Saturday there will be a few seminars on Suspension and driving techniques....held throughout the day on Saturday. Registration is limited to 100 drivers to guarantee lots of track time. This sounds like lots of fun. Please contact me if you have any questions. Ed FFR1997K edward.kamptner@med.ge.com |

I'M In
Ed,
Called SVTOA and signed up. Should be a great time. The 3.7 mile course at Sebring will make Gainesville look like an Autocross track. We must remember that Sebring has lots of hard things to run in to like walls, guard rails, tire baracades, etc. Are you going to get Jim and Lori to bring their SVT toy down to Sebring to run with us? Gainesville in less than 2 weeks, see you their. Pam and Jerry Miller PS That was a great mailing for the Gainesville event. I was wondering how many xtra turns you would put in. |
Sounds like fun but I have to be in Atlanta the next day for a Sales Meeting at work. Bummer. I guess I will have to have enough fun at Gainesville.

Jim and Lori are bringing their SVT Cobra to the Sebring event.
I'm so stoked for this event. It's a dream come true for me. See you all in Gainesville. Ed FFR1997K |
