Were is everyone staying this weekend?
I called Chateau Elan and all rooms are booked. Girl there suggested Inn on the Lakes as an alternate.
We were thinking of getting a room just for Saturday nite so we could get cleaned up after a day at the track before the banquet. I'm checking on some RV's this afternoon.
New clutch assembly and track brakes are in, so I'm ready to go!:D :D :D The new taller roll bar may even be ready by Friday for final install.

We are at the Chateau Elan. There is a bar and even more important to Pam is the SPA. And we think cobra's are expensive:LOL: Will be checking in Friday night. Even if you can't get a room come on over and we can have a beer or two.

I ran my car on the Sebring Raceway the last weekend in March with a group called Speed Ventures out of California, I'm still grinning. My fast lap was 2:52 on the 3.7 mile track, a full minute slower than the 12-Hour cars, but plenty fast for me. I'm sure you 'experienced race hands can beat that by several seconds. You guy's are gonna have a blast, unfortunatley a dance recital and sporting clays tournament will keep me from joining you.
However, as a local, ( I live in Lake Placid, 10 miles south of Sebring) I'm sure I get by at least once during the weekend. If anyone is arriving early Friday we could get together for a cruise. After the banquet Saturday, you should venture up the road to a bar called The Watering Hole, they have a good band, some well-fed country girls stuffed in tight jeans, and a live 13 foot alligator in a cage next to the bar, about as much excitement as you can expect in these parts. (unless you're racing)

WE'VE GOT LODGING

I GOT US A ROOM AT THE KENILWORTH LODGE FOR SAT. NITE. FRIDAY NITE WILL STAY AT CAROL'S FOLK'S JUST UP THE ROAD FROM SEBRING. THOUGHT IT WOULD BE MORE CONVENIENT TO SHOWER (AFTER A DAY AT THE TRACK) CLOSER TO THE PARTY.
I PICK UP MY NEW TOW VEHICLE TOMMOROW MORNING. THIS DAMN COBRA STUFF IS GETTING EXPENSIVE :CRY: :CRY: :CRY:
