looking for a finished FFR in Atlanta

I am a new guy living in Atlanta Georgia, who now after 4 years of dreaming actually has the means to seriously consider buying & building a FFR Kit.

I stumbled upon the Factory Five site while looking to buy a set of control arms for my 88 5.0 GT & have been dreaming of building a Cobra one day ever since. Now things are in order to the point that I can actually consider doing it(Stock options are vested, fiancée is all for it, about to have house with garage).

I am fairly sure that I can tackle this build with only the normal amount of Murphy's law, bumps, bruises & stumbles that normally accompany these sort of endeavors. I consider myself a decent bolt turner that has done my fair share of engine & tranny swaps, rear end rebuilds (you mean you have to shim those ) a complete frame off of a 1971 Monte Carlo(so what if it took 3 years) & spent 3 years racing motorcycles in WERA all while managing not to kill myself. I have a good pool of friends that spend all of their spare time & energy fussing with a wide variety of Mustangs (some even do it pretty well 5.85 in the 1/8mile )

The only thing that I have never done, is actually see one of these cars in person, & as much as everyone raves about them, I would really like to see one all finished in the flesh.

Is there anyone in the Atlanta Georgia area that would not mind a guy coming out to drool over there car & take the last bit of question out of my mind?

DD, you're in a serious Cobra city. Monitor the Atlanta Cobra Club under "Local Clubs" on the menu bar. You will be able to stay in the know as to our local gatherings. What part of Atlanta do you live in? You can visit Southern Automotive Engineering in McDonough to see some Cobras on display in their showroom.

Welcome.
