Help from Florida Cobra owners
Recently moved from Massachusetts to Florida and am having trouble with DMV getting my Cobra re-titled and registered.
Car is a NAF that was originally titled in Maine by the original owner as a 1969 Ford Cobra. When it was sold to the next owner in Massachusetts it was again titled as a 1969 Ford Cobra. When I bought the car again 1969 Ford Cobra. Now that I am in Florida, the local DMV has decided that they want to change the make from Ford to something else. Would appreciate your input as to how your Cobra is titled ie Year Make Model Weight and what brand of replica your car is as well as whether it was factory built or built by you or a previous owner. Thanks in advance for your help. |
Dave,
I'm not sure why the DMV is giving you a problem with registering it here in Florida... I can send you a copy of the documents we use (in FLA) to register our Cobra's. Mine is registered as a 1965 Cobra replica. I can fax you a copy if you e-mail me your fax number. Lastly, and yes I'm plugging my event, but are you aware of the Reptile Roundup in November?
