Key West Pinochle Run
Well it looks like Armando Lopez has created something a little different when it comes to the normal Poker Run. CobraDoc went out and bought a Pinochle deck for the Poker Run, which now had to be changed to the Annual Key West Pinochle Run. I guess next year we will have to send someone else out to purchase the correct deck of cards. When it was all completed we did have a winner, Pam Miller with 3 Queens. She walked away with $75.00 for the winning hand. Manny Lopez had us all in stitches again as he tried to explain his very wrinkled knees. On Sunday evening the entire group was at Mallory Square to see the sunset, when Manny had us all gather around to hear his story about those knees. The wrinkled knees were easily explained when he told us as a child he had the Kneesles. :LOL: We all tried to tell him it must have been the Measles, he said no it was Kneesles. When he took off his shoes and we saw his toes all bent up he said it was a bout with Toelio. Again we tried to explain he must mean Polio, no Toelio he replied. To find out the punch line I guess you will have to make the next Poker Run (Pinochle Run). A great weekend without RAIN was had by all.

It would have been an offical name change if you had played with the same cards on the way home but Terry went out and bought the actual Poker Cards. After I heard you won I know it was fixed.:LOL: Dan |

What do mean FIXED!!! It only cost me half of what I won, oops! Did I say that!!! Just got lucky on the way back. I'll say one thing, it came in handy. I was able to make up some of the expense of the printing for the event. You should have stayed Dan, you could have won! I did it with just a pair of 10's....I think I like the pinochle deck better!!! |
