Reptile Roundup III has all the makings of being the best Cobra Gathering ever.

Ed and I have been working to secure a benefactor for our raffle (something new), for which we hope to have a Cobra replica "roller" to put up as the grand prize. Several of the manufactures have expressed an interest in providing us with the roller, but the deal has not been cut as of yet. You all remeber the "Kirkhams" stepping up last year for the "Spring Fling" and the success of their raffle? The DSCC will try to dupilcate that effort. Added to this we are also trying to get some other pretty heffty prizes as 2nd and 3rd place awards. Anyone want to supply an engine, transmission? You name it, we will award it! We will sell a LIMITED AMOUNT of raffle tickets to anyone who wishes to participate in the raffle. This will even include our friends from the other coast. With any luck, Jamo, Turk, Brent and the others will make plans to attend. Guys, we would love to have you attend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "The Gasholes" are even invited! How about you guys from the Mid West, North East, anywhere? COME ON DOWN! Miami and Fort Lauderdale Cobras, and all you south Fla. guys, please make your plans to participate.

Our plans are to make this years event as successful as last year's DV Spring Fling, and raise over $100,000 for our benefactor, which I can assure you is an extreemly worthy cause and will benefit many unforutnate children - more on that later when it is all finalized.

Anyone interested in making ANY donation for the raffle, or being a SPONSOR, please contact Eng. Ed, or myself, ASAP - we need all the HELP we can get. I have spoken with "Hooters" and things look good for them to jump on board as a sponsor.

This plea also relates to man power to help pull this off. If you have any desire to make this event succesful, sign on now, we will find a job for you to do.

Ed, no tracking,be glad to observe, the crate has to get us back to bama.Had great time last year-look forward to pokering around hinterlands-was great last time.Worth the trip just to see friends, and cars , and fellowship.Alabama.

Ok guys here is the deal on the drivers school and Friday Track event.

The Thursday Drivers School is sold out and already has foru drivers on the waiting list. Ed is going to talk to the instructor to see if we can get a few of the following in but for now they are alternates.

The Friday track event has three spots left and all of the above mentioned are in that event. If you want to drive on friday it is first come first serve.

All other events are open to all who want to come and pay.

Also the Cobra Raffel has slowed down. If you want to get a chance to win a Cobra worth over $25K for as little as 25 clams or 5 for $100 then write a check and mail it in or do it on the paypal site mentioned in our deepsothcobraclub.com site. As it stands now it will be a 50/50 raffel but with about 1200 more tickets we may be able to get it done. Think of it this way with 1500 to 2000 tickets you have much better odds of winning and if not you have helped a great charity.
