Dan,
I thought you were using our RR logo? Looks good. Ed |
I like it
Looks good Dan!
:) Ed, we can use to new RR logo in all kinds of places. If we make up some stickys - I've got the men's room wall at Hooters in Ocala. :D :D :D TL :MECOOL: |
I had to use photos that already are on file or the price would have been a lot more. As you know because of all the wording the larger size increased the original price quote. Maybe next year it will be a custom Dash Plaque, this year think charity.

Thanks for taking care of the dash plaque. I do appreciate the help. Money IS an issue this year. I want to really suprise Boggy Creek with a big check. C'mon guys, lets see more tickets being sold. Ed |

Do I even qualify to win the Cobra? Ed |
TL's reply to tickets
Dan,
Ed and I made an executive decicision that we should not purchase any tickets due to the fact that we are involved in the planning and coordination this entire event, and therefore are ineligable to participate. If we did purchase tickets and should we be lucky enough to have our number or name drawn, how would it look to all the others that have participated. We do not want to give any indication that this raffle is anything but "above board." We don't want anyone to think that we or the DSCC are out to profit from this!!! After all, this isn't about us, this is all about "Camp Boggy Creek!" And, a bunch of car nuts getting together for a good time. Ed and myself are contributing to the cause in many more ways than you can possibly imagine. I think everyone who does participate in any part of this event will be pleasantly surprised. And last but not least; I ALREADY HAVE A COBRA :) LET SOMEONE ELSE ENJOY ALL THE FUN WE HAVE EXPERIENCED:D TL :MECOOL: |
Ed,
You better buy them in Cameron's name! So much for executive decisions! TL:MECOOL: |
OK, since I am compelled to purchase raffle tickets to do my part in achieving our goal, I hereby affirm that if my ticket is drawn as the winning ticket, I will sell the Cobra and give ALL the money to Camp Boggy Creek.
Ed :D |
We will make sure everthing is on the up- n- up as we will have one of the lovely Wing House Girls pick the winning ticket. Ed and Terry will have to be far away from the spinning of the barrel during the offical drawing and those Wing House Girls.

Camp Boggy is specifically designed for children with chronic or life threatening illnesses and allows them to safely enjoy the activities of a "traditional" camp. Between early morning swims and evening campfires, children whose lives have been a series of medical procedures and hospital stays are transformed into just "kids." They have a chance to be with others coping with the same illness or condition and realize that they are not alone. Hugs are part of the daily dietary requirements at Boggy Creek. The campers develop special relationships with each other and with their counselors. Most importantly, the prescription for the day is fun, fun, fun! Laughter, giggles, friendships, excitement, and bursting energy abound on the 232 acres of tall pines, majestic oaks, nature trails, and two great fishing holes. Campers are empowered to do things they never dreamed they could do. They are infused with a spirit of accomplishment at every turn and are allowed to forget that "they have what they have." Camp activities include: Swimming, boating, fishing, arts & crafts, horseback riding, theater, archery, singing, dancing, animal hugging and so much more! |
Sorry for not being more active with this topic.
I'm just tired of dealing with Hurricanes. Was without power for a few days and been busy cleaning up all the debris in my yard. Now weve got a Cat 5 Hurricane (Ivan) bearing down on us. Florida cant take another direct hit. This sucks! Pray for us man, we need it! Ed |
Ed
I feel for you guy. When you called monday morning I could tell you just had to tell someone yoiur grief. I think you may be spared the brunt of the storm but it could not turn as much as they are predicting and head my way. It looks like it is heading toward Tallahassee and my son is at FSU. If it gets closer I will have him come home. Good Luck and god bless those in Ivan's path. |
I've got Hurricane anxiety.
My roof now has leaks thanks to the wind blowing off shingles. I put a tarp up and temporarily replaced the missing shingles. Waiting to see what State Farm estimates the damage to be. Not looking forward to Ivan. When I called you I had a bad case of cabin fever.... It only got worse when Renee noticed the leaking roof. I'm stressed! Ed |
Tell me is it worse than having Pomroy pass you?
|
Oh and not trying to stress you further but Ivan is now looking to hit near Tampa.
This sucks and I am safe(for now) |
