Favorite Cruise Spots in Florida

Just curious as to some of the club members favorite cruise spots .. nice twisting roads, or hills (in Florida?) with twisting roads? for enjoying the cobra. So darn many straight, crowded highways, and so few country roads around here (I live in Miami) that I'm looking for some recommendations on spots to really enjoy a cobra .. in the event I'm lucky enough to buy one later this week!!

Thanks,
Rick Durkin

My favorite spot is Gainesville Raceway... :D
No traffic, no speeding tickets and no slow drivers in the left lane!

As soon as you get your Cobra, join us!

Ed. A new Cobra will be coming to Florida ..hopefully by the end of this week. 289 FIA #9299, Viking Blue with red team stripe, black interior, compomotive wheels with dunlops, 302 motor with edelbrock RPM intake manifold, Holley 600 carb, MSD ignition, and Ford T-5 trans. Car has 2000 miles on it. Looking forward to getting the car a) in the garage!!! at home b) registered & insured and c) for a cruise down to the Florida Keys to get accustomed to it. Gainesville would be cool sometime down the road after I get comfortable with this beast. Wow .. what a day. (just got back this evening at 9:30 PM).

Adios,
Rick

Rick,
Leaving near Miami things aren’t going to get much better as the snowbirds leave. As far as hills most of Florida is flat until you go at least to the Ocala area north. I just met with Larry Hess as he has the same questions as you and he will be contacting Cobra owners soon in our area to set up something that members of the Deeper South Cobra Club can do on a monthly base. First we have to sign you up as a member so we will be able to contact you. Please copy and paste our membership and fill in the blanks and then email it to me. dwulff@swfla.rr.com On the subject line print the word COBRA.
