Florida Cobra Insurance
Any recommendations? Live in Miami-Dade County, and my regular carrier will not provide realistic coverage (you can't drive it .. and pay a lot).

I use American Hobbyist in Stuart Florida. Rates are good, I just paid 450 for $55k agreed value for a New York car. I don't have a phone number handy.

I just paid for a policy with Classic Ins. Mileage is limited and policy price depends on what coverage you have on other cars you own (must be the same). Mine was $620. Now, if I could only find a set of wheels to fit this car, I'd be driving it this weekend to the Grand Prix (St. Pete). If the wheels take much longer (ordered them in Nov.), I may have to put all the miles on the car (yearly limit) in 1 day.

Try American Collectors Ins. out of N.J., their underwritters is American Bankers Ins. of FLA. $ 300 / year on $42k agreed value.
No deductibles, full coverage for $100/300K. One down side is the milage limitation of 2500 / year. With our weather down here it should not be a problem. Good Luck. When you get the snake check out Fudruckers on the 1st. Saturday of every month between 6:00 and 10:00pm. Joe |
