Transferring title from MN to GA
Hello GA Cobra lovers. I currently have a Cobra titled and registered in MN as a 2001 Everett Morrison 427 roadster. I am moving to the Atlanta area in the near future, and was wondering if anyone had experience with transferring a Cobra from out of state into GA. Any help will be greatly apreciated.
Thanks,
Mark

Bought mine out of state with all of the appropiate paperwork. Presented old title with indorsement over to me, Bill of Sale, proof of insurance and no problem. They didn't even look at the car to verify VIN or a safety inspect. You will however probably have to pass an emission's test since you're going to the Atlanta area. Not all areas in Ga require the test

Thanks Wizard. I found info on the GA DMV regarding emissions testing for the counties surrounding Atlalnta, and I will be moving into either Gwinett or Fulton, both which require the emissions test. There were no details as to the actual test requirements. Does anyone know what they test for? What are the acceptable levels? Has anyone passed these tests with a Cobra?
