Best times at the 1/27 Gainseville Event
Anybody know who was turning the best lap times at the January 2007 Gainseville event? I know there were some competitive laps during the perfect day at the track. Post your best time.

It Was A Great Time
We were really happy to see everyone (well ALMOST everyone - many familiar faces missing) last month. :)
The weather couldn't have been better. Started out chilly, but bright and sunny by mid morning and thru the afternoon. I need a course in "Lap Timer 101" next time. I couldn't get that thing to register my times - obliviously operator error. Didn't make any difference, because I wasn't competitive anyhow. Love all the new torque, but traction shifting into 3rd gear has now become an issue; maybe need to go back to the bigger Goodyears. %/ I have always felt that I needed a different rear gear ratio for Gainesville. The one I have now is fine for the bigger tracks where we can carry more speed thru the corners. Anyhow, it's nice to dream about how to make our cars faster. **) **) The March event is really questionable at this time; as my elderly mother is going thru knee replacement surgery and rehab at that time. I will make it if possible. TL :MECOOL: We loved seeing our old friends in January; really missed some of the old faces. Hope to see EVERYONE before heading back north. Terry and Carol |
