Saturday New Smyrna Beach
Finally a break in the weather! Several of us are going to the East Coast Cruisers Show in New Smyrna Beach; Canal Street(waterfront); this Saturday 6-9PM. It is held each Second Saturday of the month but rain has kept us from going. The word is that several hundred cars attend for quite a show. It would be great if we could meet and park together. They do not hold you there until 9 if you wanted to leave earlier.

Hi, Sounds like you haven't been there before. Cruise night is one of the best in the state with alot of top quality cars, and always 2-3 Cobra's. Yes it looks like the weather may be in our favor. The cars come out of the woodwork for this monthly event. They have had over 500 cars for their anniversary cruise. I suggest you get there 4-5 P.M. at the latest since it fills up fast. As for getting the SNAKES all together it might be a hard call unless they get there early & use one of the ajoining parking lots to the Canal Street which are cleared in advance for the cruise. The East Coast Cruisers have radio's and will help you find a place to park. Of course they have a DJ and some give aways. As for eating I suggest you bring a small cooler & snack, although there are a few Rest. and street vendors on Canal street. The women if you bring one will be entertained by all the shops on Canal St. In the immediate area there are many Rest. I suggest McKenna's Sport Bar & Rest. one mile south of Canal St. on US 1. P.S. Another great cruise is on the 3rd. Sat. of the month at Destination Daytona H-D 1-95 & US 1..Hope to see you there! Rich from the BIG D.:cool: ........
