Southern Automotive & Atlanta forum members?

2 quick things.

1. I want to reiterate some other posts I have made, and let you all know I had another great experience with Southern Automotive. Bill Parham and Lewis made a house call today on my recently purchased Cobra, since Bill was without trailer for the day and he did not want me to have to wait to sort out a minor issue. Talk about standing behind your product and excellent customer service. I live a good hour or so away from his shop, and I am glad folks like this still exist. It is the way business was done in the "Old Days", and it is nice to know I am not the only one who still upholds that tradition.

2. Does anybody on this forum live in the greater Atlanta area and have there been any get-togethers? I live in Roswell and would welcome meeting some other local Cobra owners. I know there are 2 other Cobras nearby, but not sure if they are on the forum.

Regards,

Mike

Don't forget about their website. The DSCC's very own Jerry Rowley has apparently been busy lately making improvements to SA's website. It's lookin' good, Jerry!

Mike,
I too have recently moved into the Atlanta area. I am in Kennesaw just of the 41. I have seen a couple of other cobras at local weekly cruises. The best place for cruise info is in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, friday wheels section. They list all the local cruises as well as upcoming shows.

I will be out of town until mid September, but would be interested in getting together with other local cobra owners as well. You may have seen my cobra at one of the local cruises, a British Racing Green FFR with white stripes. Anyway look forward to some cobra cruising.

I coudn't resist saying something!

I just couldn't keep silent! I agree that Bill Parham is a stand up guy and puts out some great engines. You guys didn't get to see and hear my new bomb that we fired up Wednesday, wow! It not only goes, it sounds truely awsome:D Those 462 inches really turn on. I can hardly wait to break it in and redline it through the gears.

Very nice meeting both Keith and Mike on Monday and it was nice to have Rick along for lunch. We got home Wednesday night at 9:30 PM and put the Cobra in the garage, then went back out to eat. A long day, but worth it.

Jerry,

I just saw your post, so how's she run? I assume you have had some windshield time with her by now since your post is two weeks old as I right this.

Have you noticed a big difference?

Update Profile

Jerry,

Now that you have that new bomb in your Unique, you need to update your profile. It still says you have a 406.

Jer
