Cobras at Sebring 4-25-09?
On my way from WPB to Lake Wales, I stopped by Sebring International Raceway on Saturday afternoon just to see if anything was going on.
I drove down the front straight (spectator side) and spotted a Cobra going out of the pits onto the track. I turned around and went back to try and get into the pits, but without permission from the Viper group that had rented the track for the day, the guards won't let me in. (I even flashed them my DSCC member badge - didn't help.) So I drove over to Turn 2 and just watched form there. Saw 2 Cobras; #94 Blue with white stripes, and #7 Polished Kirkham with passenger doing several laps. Also thought there was another Cobra, but getting there about 4:45 PM and the track closes around 5:00, they may have called it a day. Anyhow, just wondering who the #94 and #7 guys are, and if you had a fun time. TL :MECOOL: In NC for the summer |
