Open Track Registration for Beaverun/DVSF

If you are one of the guys that said they were going to attend the Open Track at Beaverun on June 20.

I NEED YOU TO SEND ME AN E-MAIL SO THAT A REGISTRATION FORM CAN BE SENT TO YOU.
THE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE HANDLED THRU COBRA UNIVERSITY BUT PAYMENT WILL BE MADE TO BEAVERUN.

IF WE HAVE ENOUGH PARTISIPANTS WE WILL HAVE OUR OWN RUN GROUP. COBRAS ONLY.

If you want to respond here ok but it would be easier if you sent me an e-mail.

Thanks,
Roger Davis aka Cranky

We need the others who said they were going to e-mail me or we won't have our own Cobra run group. We will have to run with the SCCA boys and kick their butts?????

As you can see we only have one BIG BLOCK running so all you Big Block guys out there this is your chance to beat up on all the little guys like you been talking about for so long.

We don't have much time as the slots are fillin up fast on the SCCA side.
Thanks,
Roger:MECOOL:

Well? We're waiting?(Ted Knight voice from Caddyshack)
I've been listening to the BB vs. SB thing for awhile, it seems the gauntlet has been thrown down! :3DSMILE:
Now that I've taken sides, I gonna have some fun!
Maybe one day I'll be saying: "Club Cranky, Georgia Chapter"(in "Flying Elvises, Utah Chapter" voice from "Honey in Vegas).:3DSMILE:

"Club Cranky and YOU!!"

Scary thought!

You would fit better with the Gasholes! You are better than 85% there already.

Is there a previous thread with the details on this event?

DanElam 02-19-2003 03:21 PM

Ok guys. Where do I get the details? I am thinking about running the SCCA National race with the Cobra that same weekend at Lime Rock, but I could be talked into running something closer to home (and maybe more fun!)

What is the 'SCCA side'? Is this going to be timed or wheel to wheel? Could be fun!

Beaverun Open track

Lee
Dan,

Stephen Johnstone (Cobra University) has made arrangements for Open Track at the SCCA test and tune day June 20 at Beaverun Pa. The cost is $150 for the day. If enough guys show interest then maybe the Cobras can have their own run group. So far only 8 people have shown any interest and some of them are starting to have second thoughts about towing 8 hrs. for one day of track time. However at Summit Point NASA is also having an HPDE open track event on June 21,22 so it may be feasable to do both events and get in a long 3 day weekend of open track.
Some have suggested It may be too early to start counting heads but I know where I am running every month from May to October and Hotel rooms are already booked.
We will have to wait and see if more sign up for this June 20 date to happen.
Keep watching here.

Hmmmm

I can't commit to running at Beaver Run, but I will be instructing and racing at the Summit Point event for NASA.

Hmmmmmm. I just checked and Summit Point is having Friday at the Track (FATT) for June 20. If you want, you could come down for that. (Then you get good parking spaces at Summit!)

Details are at:

http://www.bsr-inc.com/SCHEDREC.HTM

BTW, for Summit, we will have plenty of beer and stuff for everyone. Looking forward to having you guys down for our neck of the woods!
