Dvsf Date Change
Made you look.
DVSFIII is not even in the books and I am thinking about DVSFIV. There appears to be a number of events all the same weekend as the Fling. Mid America, Vintage Car races at Mid-Ohio, etc. All of which are or could cause folks to make a choice that they would rather not make. I know it is NOT possible to make the weekend work for everyone, but maybe we could make it better? Any thoughts on this? Should DVSF change its dates or should everyone else (I vote for the latter:LOL: Rick |

I think it should be June 15th weekend, Fathers Day so even the little women would know thats our day with the Cobra. Plus no one will miss a Holiday that has been put aside by American Greetings Card Co.

I suggest you move the next years Fling lV to the weekend before Sprint Vintage racing at Mid Ohio plus the SCCA OVR Autocrossing that Sunday. So for the Fling lll I'll be joining just for Friday and the rest of the time at Mid-Ohio and Ackerman. Other Cobra owners run into the same conflicts also... Lars |
As far as I am concerned, there is NO OTHER event that can compete with DVSF!! I feel that it is a very unique event designed for the whole family. There are plenty of testosterone filled events throughout the year and we should leave DVSF right there. It is important to be consistant with the date, since many of us are already planning on DVSF IV!!! Just my opinion.
