DVSF Travel Advisory; Indy
When summertime comes to Indiana Orange barrels pop up on the highways like dandelions on the lawn!
There is a major reconstruction going on involving I-70 and I-65 through downtown Indianapolis. For those traveling east on 70 you won't be able to make the straight shot through town and will be forced to take the I-465 loop south and then catch 70 again on the east side. If traveling south on I-65 you can not connect with 70 downtown and will have to take I-865 east then merge with 465 east and go around the outer loop to hit 70 on the east side. Just a heads up that may save some time and frustration. See you all there, Jeff -------------------------------------------- Do you have your DVSF Drive-A-Thon pledges yet? |
Way to go Jeff! Great and usefull traffic update.
For those coming from the other direction on 70, nothing really abnormal except as you leave the immediate downtown Columbus area. A little bridge repair being done, freeway is still open just a little slow at that point. Not to worry, you are less than 10 minutes from the hotel at that point! :) DV...in the famous words of TomH...can you feel it? :D |
This will the third year they are "constructing"....
What is this California Highway Department? |
