No...I don't think so..there's plenty of life left on them...My greater concern was the heat having an affect on the hub bearings, but since I can touch the spinners with my hand after a run, I don't suspect the heat being generated to be that much of an issue...guess I was just being a little anal on this one...maybe just looking for an excuse to tinker, but it gave me one more opportunity to get more intimate with the car...helps feed the database for the sensory monitor that we all seem to develop for justifying and laying to rest every clunk/rattle/squeek/hiccup with these cars.. :)
Plus, I think I kind of like the skuzzy wheel look on these naturally finished Halibrands....a little patina is good as far as I'm concerned.... - Allen. |
