ERA guys - need to borrow a "Street" seat..

Guys:

Taking a 1700mi RT to the Dragon the end of September. My comp. vintage seats aren't going to cut it. Just need one as I won't have a passenger. If any of you have a spare and wouldn't mind, I'd be much obliged. If I come up empty, I guess I'll give the boys in CT a call and open the wallet.

Thanks,

- Allen.

Where are you at?

Fullchat289 Will an SC seat work in your car? Will want it back. Going to R&G in 3 weeks. Might be able to let you break it in. Rick L. You really should look at a road race seat like Kirkey. Comfortable and safer to be sitting in. Cobra1169 is selling 2 new in the box.

The 427 and FIA "street" seats are the same. However, I think that the bolt-pattern might have been changed a little when we went to steel frames from the old fiberglass buckets.

Bob:

Do you have a seat on the shelf? If not, how long to make one up? I would need it in about 3wks time. Material is not important, but I would prefer the lesser expensive version. As far as the bolt pattern goes, my comp buckets are fiberglass shells and my chassis number is 2124. Not sure if you can discern from this if your current street seat would be a direct fit.

I also need to talk to one of you guys about a modification to the fuel filler casting weldment piece that goes between the aston cap and fuel tank in support of my Lemans HT project. It's an easy thing, but will probably need to fax a sketch. Would that be Peter I need to talk to?

Also need a couple more side curtain ferrules (2).

Thanks,

- Allen.

Rick:

I appreciate the offer. I leave for Deals Gap on the 23rd of Sept...not sure with you going to R&G that the timing would work... I appreciate the Kirkey suggestion and I saw the seats on CC/ebay.. Your generosity is much appreciated.
