Tremec Transmission Mount & others

Hi Bob, need some clarification: I have gone through the manual and it is still confusing as to what transmission mount I need for a Tremec TKO. I think all I need is Republic #31-2224 - car is #2064. Another question is - how do I mount the dead pedal? There were no pre-drilled captive nuts per the manual, can you tell me where/how to determine mount holes? Last question, I didn't find any "fuzzy" material for lining the trunk lid or glove compartment in the shipment - was it not included? Please ping Peter about the seats and wiring harness (hasn't been shipped yet). Having fun in San Diego, thanks for the help! Regards, Mike

Gee,

...one could comment about all of the captive nuts at ERA... but you wont hear it from me!

PS: Turk I got to this one first, you get the next one...

PPS: I have the TKO in ERAFIA2045, but it's 75 miles away in a box on wheels. Otherwise I would go out and crawl under and check the trans. mount for you.

My recollection about the "dead pedal" is that you locate it relative to where you set the other pedals. Some folks have shorter legs, etc. and set the pedals closer to the seat.

Mike,

The Tremec requires a spacer/adapter between the mount and the transmission. We'll send one along with the rest of the parts (or before).
See here for the dead-pedal location, but as Morty said, you can change it to match your size.
