speedo gear problem
Hello BOB, after all the horror in the USA this week I decided to drive #569 around the block a couple of times and clear my Head. It handles better than I ever dreamed. One thing i did find, My speedo is fast by @ 10 mph. I have a 3:31 REAR,CCW Smiths,small spline toploader from ERA, and 17" wheels(25.5"high). I got everything with the kit, I noticed in the ERA manual the gears go from 20 teeth down to 17teeth.What gear should I have and what can I get to correct this speedo error? I remember the gear being white with green mark on end. With my luck I know I will get a ticket !! Thanks, Scott

Thanks BOB, Sounds great. I think you guys are great. I cant tell you how many times Doug & Peter have helped me out on the phone and you with a fast reply. I am in luck, The police set up one of those portable speed signs right near my house ! I know no speedo is 100% correct, but after I install the new gear I can see my speed against the speed gun for reference !! . I'll see if it can read 100mph !!! Thank you Scott:LOL:
