Air Duct
Bob,
A friend stopped by this weekend with his ten year old ERA (#323)that was "factory built". I noticed the rear of the front wheel well has a screened vents leading to the engine compartment. Was this a common practice at that time and are there any significant benefits to this modification? Thanks, Steve(#606) |
Steve:
The upside is more cooling air right at the header collectors. The downside is more crap in the engine compartment. It's just something else to lighten your wallet. Peter always has one more "option" he can sell. You should know that by now. Ya pays yer money and takes yer choices... er chances... or something like that. Jim Holden |
Steve, I installed my front wheel house screen vents after my car was completed. It was easy and I think it helps with the engine compartment temp. They look real cool anyway !! Scott :D

The pieces are available to do
this. Only Peter knows how much for just the parts... |
