LIME ROCK - Labor Day Vintage Races
Folks:
With Hurricane Irene (mostly) behind us, we plan to trek to the NW corner for the annual vintage races at Lime Rock Park. Historic Festival 28 - Lime Rock - Lime Rock Park We have a couple of RV spots between the bridge and West Bend. So, plan on stopping by and saying hello and sitt'n awhile. Jim |
We'll absolutely be there. That is usually one of the best days of the year, great weather, fantastic cars, the sounds, smells, folks etc

Heading out Sat. morning to see you all up there. What is your ETA at the park? Marilyn and I are looking forward to a great day or weekend depending on a few things yet to be determined and hopefully the gremlins will leave the car alone for some good miles. See you there.

Tomorrow: A few showers early then thundershowers developing in the afternoon. High 76F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70%. Anybody nkow if they still race on a wet track? If so, I wouldn't mind making the trip to LRP anyway. Listers, Corvettes, Ferraris,Lotus(es, Lotie? ha I don't know) slip-sliding around, should be a sight to behold Cant find anyting on the LRP website about racing in the wet |
