Round to Rectangular Tail Light Conversion?
Bob, is it possible to change a car that already has round tail lights to rec.? Does it require glass work? Aprox. cost just for the needed parts?

Yes, the body shape is a bit different between tail-light designs. When we offered both, we actually used a different mold for that area. Unfortunately, I don't know whether there was volume added between the round light mounting area, or volume removed at the top and bottom. I suspect that the answer lies somewhere in between, so if you add some glass on the inside and the outside, you can reshape to fit the new lights.
Cobra Restorers has the lights for $120/pair. |
