Colors for ERA

I think I have selected the right paint for my turnkey ERA, due some time in the early spring. Here is the question: the paint is from a 2001 Ford, but has been discontinued in 2002. Is this a problem? The paint is a clear coat metalic...any issues there?

None.

No problem. Paint codes are available for all OEM colors - in perpetuity (almost). While the color will be the same, the factory uses different techniques and materials for baking (and maybe being applied with water or as a powder).
