Steering rack boot part number???
One of my steering rack boots is ripped. I assume I have a Flaming River FR1502 rack.
Do I need a Flaming River boot #FRTS1856 or can I use any auto parts store boot for a Mustang II? The ERA manual is clear on the rack part number, but not the boots. Thanks. John |
You can find what you need at a local well stocked parts house.

Unfortunately, I don't know whether the Ford part will interchange.

Summit Racing had the Flaming River boots for just a bit more that OEM type so I bought them. They fit fine.
