#446 steering wheel / what fits?
Looking for a 14" steering wheel and found a new FFR wheel. See photo on how the bolt holes line up with the drawing I was provided. Might be 1/32" off on the top two holes?? Will this steering wheel work without modification? I'd like to know before I agree to purchase it.

If your dimensions are correct; it won't fit. You will definitely see 1/32".

You're using countersunk head screws? They will scream out at you  that there's misalignment there.

As soon as Bob returns from vacation, ask him if they will fashion a quick release hub that fits the wheel of your choosing (that you send to him). Having a QR hub on your car makes a lot of things easier. If you're lucky, they might be able to bang it out for you at a reasonable cost.

I wonder if there would be any harm in simply running 4 bolts? If a Grant wheel only uses 3, is 6 or even 9 overkill on a street car? I like the idea of a quick release and then the resultant possibility of keeping a 15" steering wheel. I'm a 6'3" 190 lb driver.

Car finally arrived and the 15" wheel is fine! I have just enough room for me leg between the wheel and the shift lever in first gear, and getting in/out is fine. I'll keep the wheel I have.
