Hi, In the process of getting my motor together for a slabside build and have a? about what year dip stick and tube you can use with the era alt bracket setup , it looks like 65 is all by them self and then 66-68 are different, any help would be great regards Bob

Does ERA have a special alt bracket?

There's room for a front-cover mounted dipstick or one that comes from the top-right of a T-pan.
The alternator is mounted off the standard threaded boss on the right cylinder head. The alternator is almost straight up from that. We have a nice adjusting bracket for the setup.

Will the after market copy of the original Cobra alternator mount fit with in the ERA's engine bay?

I'm not positive, but I think that it puts the alternator too far right, interfering with the front suspension pillar.
